Yoga Therapy is focussed on assisting a person or small group of people with particular health conditions and to complement other treatment they are receiving. It is tailored to the needs of the group or individual and works on postural, breathing and deep relaxation to promote healing and acceptance.
Private small group and one-to-one sessions are often a better choice for some people. Sometimes the class environment is not suited to the individual, especially where certain health conditions are a matter for concern, for busy people who can't commit to a class or for those wanting to further their own practice. I take clients on a private 1-1 or small group basis usually in the client's own home, although a studio can be arranged if needs be. The first session is 75mins and includes a full patient history to best ascertain the reason for the session and how we can best work together. Subsequent sessions are usually 1hr.
